Fun times. I've decided to extend the time for the contest, seeing as it would end in.. 4 days, and i don't have a single entry. *tear* It'll end August 15th now. :3


What the heck am I doing something about?
My Jin 'parody' character, Isamu. :3 He's kinda cool, yay. So... Yeah, if you don't know who Jin is.. Go look it up. He's from Samurai Champloo. He's awesome. I'm.. A lot like him. It's scary ;--; *kaff* Aaaanyway... Isa's like Jin.. But a fox anthro. (I know, I know. Ew! Teh furry!). But yeah. Usually carries a sour expression, but can (in rare moments) be happy. Actually has a cute smile (as seen in my deviation 'Candid') but.. Hardly shows it. Glasses. Wears... Darker, larger things. Very skinny (probably needs a sammich). Tall (for 'Asian' race) at 5'11". Usually wears sandals or goes barefoot (rarely), but also looks good in boots. I'll stop rambling now. Oh! Wait. Isa's bangs dip just below chin, and ponytail touches bottom. And glasses have no rims on the bottom. Yup. Oh! And he wears a crestless kimono if you draw him in that. :3

What the heck do I have to do?
Anything! As long as it's artistic, it's in there. >D You can draw, write poetry, write a little story, do a Furcadia portrait, paint something that makes you think of Isa. Or something. I dunno. I'd really like a large range of things @_@ It's pretty much open to everything and anything. :3 I like it all!

What the heck do I get for this?
Every entrant will get a sketch of a character of their choice (whether it be theirs or a character they like), just to put some insentive in there. I think.. Hmm... I will make the prizes as follows:

Best Overall : Fully coloured art with background. Character of choice.
Best Drawing : Fully coloured character headshot.
Best Poetry : Fully coloured character headshot.
Best Story : Fully coloured character headshot.
Personal Favorite : Fully coloured character art. No BG, sorry! >o<
Most Creative : Furcadia portrait OR character headshot.

Everyone, as said before, will get a sketch and their submission will be placed (if I have permission) up upon my fledgling website. <3 People will see you! G asp!

I will NOT be biased. You will NOT have a better chance of winning if I know you/you're a good friend. I will view everyone's art without preconception -- you all have a fair chance.
Yes, one person (seeing as there probably won't be many entries to begin with) can win more than one prize.
You may enter with as many submissions as you like. The more, the merrier! <3 And you make me happy, too >D
If no one enters in a certain category... Well, there just won't be a prize for that one, now, will there!?
